Every funeral is different. You can choose only the additional services your family wants, whether that is flowers, printed materials or a livestream for people who cannot attend in person. We will explain the cost of each choice before anything is arranged.
Prices shown include GST; items marked “from” or “approx” vary depending on your choices, and items marked POA are quoted individually so we can get the details right for you.
Prepaid funerals
Prepaid funerals
A prepaid funeral allows you to make decisions in advance and pay for the Funeral Commons services set out in your agreement. This can fix the price of those agreed services at today’s rates and reduce the decisions and financial responsibility left to family later.
In NSW, prepaid funeral funds are placed with a registered funeral fund rather than held by Funeral Commons. Before you proceed, we will provide a clear agreement showing what is included and whether any third-party costs or future changes could affect the final amount.
Funeral bonds
Funeral bonds
A funeral bond allows you to set aside money specifically for future funeral costs through a registered provider. Depending on the product, you may contribute a lump sum or make regular payments, and the value may grow over time.
Unlike a prepaid funeral agreement, a funeral bond does not automatically fix the price of your future funeral. It provides funds towards the cost when they are needed. Funeral Commons can help you record your wishes and understand how a funeral bond could work alongside your funeral plan.
